A 3-day interactive event allowing legally registered participants the opportunity to shoot the latest firearm products in a safe and controlled environment. Shoot safely with the latest firearm products, ammunition, optics and accessories direct with the Manufacturers during the 82nd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at The Sturgis Buffalo Chip.
How GUNFEST Works?
So you arrive on time at 8:30am to The Sturgis Buffalo Chip & GUNFEST location…
I Want To Participate In The Shooting Experiences!
- Come on into GUNFEST
- Create a PROFILE on the GUNFEST site
- COMPLETE the PARTICIPATION FORM in YOUR PROFILE
- PURCHASE your Ammunition “Punchcard”, various levels of participation 100, 75, 50, 25 ammunition “round experiences”
- Bring your PURCHASE CONFIRMATION # to the GUNFEST “ammunition booth” with your ID.
- Present your purchase confirmation # & ID
- We will confirm your ID & Purchase
- We will then provide you with your Ammunition “Punchcard” at purchased level.
Then What?
You may now discuss the firearms you are interested in at the various GUNFEST Sponsor booths. (see GUNFEST Site Map & Sponsor list)
When you decide what firearm you’d like to experience you will let the Sponsor booth’s representative know what you’d like to shoot.
The Sponsor booth’s representative will then have their assigned GUNFEST ~RANGE OFFICER escort you and the firearm you've selected to experience into 1 of the Sponsor’s private shooting lanes.
It is here, AND ONLY HERE, ammunition will be provided to the participant to shoot at the various steel targets down range within the assigned range lane.
NO AMMUNITION will leave the range firing line and NO REFUNDS on ammunition purchases.
Upon completion of your shooting experience, you will then be escorted up the stairs and back into the Sponsor’s Booth in which you can learn more details on the firearm, ammunition, suppressor and accessories you’ve experienced at GUNFEST.
A day pass to the chip is NOT required to attend.
